Our Founder's Journey: As a young student in Addis Ababa, Mr. Shewangzaw was captivated by the bustling energy and communal spirit of the original Mulushewa restaurant. It was here that he not only savored the flavors of authentic Ethiopian cuisine but also absorbed the lively rhythms of Ethio-jazz and the rich conversations that echoed through its halls. This experience planted the seeds for what would eventually become our MULUSHEWA here in Maryland.
